DAY 2

• BANGKOK

• Experience the famous highlights and landmarks of Bangkok from a new perspective as you embark on a cruise aboard a private speedboat. Enjoy a convenient private transfer to the pier where your chartered speedboat awaits. Unwind and glide along the Chao Phraya River, taking in vistas of some the city’s most magnificent temples. Take a glimpse into the everyday lives of the famous ‘water people’ of Thailand. Known as the Moken, these Austronesian people live predominately at sea and in houseboats. While sailing along the river, a selection of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided onboard.

• Venture into the Outdoors
• Pedal through natural splendor and discover a serene side of Bangkok in a private cycling tour. Departing from Klong Toei pier, join your private guide and take your bike onboard a long-tail boat crossing the Chao Phraya River. Visit an unexpectedly lush peninsula locals have dubbed the ‘Green Lung’ of Bangkok. Prepare to cycle through the countryside with skyscrapers in the distant background, stopping to explore the botanical garden of Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park and passing though Bang Krachao’s villages. If your timing is right, you might visit the charming and authentic Talad Nam Pueng floating market, which is held only weekends. Your cycling tour eventually leads back to the pier where you'll return to “mainland” Bangkok.

• BANGKOK TO CHIANG MAI

• Surrender to the call of the countryside in this exploration of Chiang Mai's hillside villages. Spend a day in a rural community, learning about the history, culture and daily lives of the locals who inhabit the verdant hills surrounding Chiang Mai. Today’s private tour allows plenty of time for hands-on experiences. For instance, you may wish to learn about rice production and try out some of the steps involved in the process, like rice planting or harvesting (depending on the season). • Venture into Chiang Mai's countryside to discover its temples and treasures with your private English-speaking guide.
