• For your added comfort, an English-speaking assistant will be waiting for you at the arrival gate holding a sign with your name on it. You will be assisted through immigration, airport security, and a dedicated fast track counter. Porter service is provided at the luggage belt area only. You will also receive a voucher for access to the Marhaba departure lounge at this time.

• A Bird’s Eye View
• A magnificent early morning small group experience awaits, as you take to the skies on a gentle hot air balloon ride, catching catch the rising sun at 4,000 feet above the desert dunes. Let the world’s most experienced hot air balloon pilots take you on a ride of a lifetime, while being dazzled by trained falcons. You'll be picked up at your hotel and transported in a shared SUV to the launch point before a safety briefing by the pilot, followed by boarding protocols. Once up in the air, view the vast expanse of golden sand dunes from the comfort of the balloon's basket, while trained falcons fly from the balloon in a breathtaking spectacle you have to see to believe. After your hour-long ride, you'll be driven to a private desert conservation reserve where you'll have the chance to freshen up before being treated to a scrumptious breakfast of gourmet delicacies. Upon the conclusion of your experience, you'll be transferred back to your hotel. Note: balloon departures are subject to weather conditions.
• Spend the afternoon at leisure taking a walk down the beach or simply hanging around in the swimming pool in your hotel. You can choose from simply going to the beach and swimming in the warm waters of the Persian Gulf, to real-snow skiing in the Middle East’s only real-snow ski centre. Or you can head out to the Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa in the evening or choose to simply relax in your hotel.

• Explore a City of Contrasts
• Meet your private guide and driver, embarking on a full day exploration of the diverse highlights of Dubai, from its historic jewels to its state-of-the-art modern marvels. Set out with your private guide and driver for an enchanting half day tour exploring the historical beauty of Old Dubai. Head to Bastakiya, one of the oldest neighborhoods of Dubai, where heritage and golden traditions whisper secrets of the past. Discover the city’s well preserved cultural surroundings as you weave through the alleys of the Al Fahidi historical district, spotting some of the old buildings dating back to the late 19th century. Board an abra, the traditional equivalent of a water taxi, as you’re shuttled across the historical Dubai Creek. Step ashore and explore the enchanting gold and spice souks, offering delightful sensory experiences with scents, sounds, and colors abound. Progressing into Modern Dubai, make your way to the world-famous Burj Al Arab, an exclusive offshore hotel where you’ll be treated to a decadent Afternoon Tea of champagne and epicurean delights within its majestic interiors. After, revel in an ascent to the top of the world’s tallest building, the towering and iconic Burj Khalifa. Discover the Burj’s remarkable 124th-floor ‘At The Top’ observation deck, where floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer breathtaking 360-degree views over the city, desert and ocean as you watch the sun descend over the horizon. Enjoy a transfer back to your hotel or stay to take in the exceptional Dubai Fountain show at your leisure, witnessing the tallest performing fountain show in the world, submerged within the 30-acre Burj Lake.

DAY 4

• DUBAI TO DENPASAR TO UBUD

• The Journey Continues…
• A private vehicle and driver will provide a transfer between the airport and hotel.
• Board a flight in Dubai with service to Denpasar. The flight duration is approximately nine hours.
• Please note that this itinerary has been designed to match direct flights with Emirates. The flights are not included in the price and must be purchased separately.
• After meeting your guide and round of introductions, settle into your private vehicle and relax as you are transferred to your accommodations. Upon arrival, your guide will assist with check-in and along the way, answer any questions you may have.

• A Festive Feast
• Spend your day at leisure in the beautiful rainforest setting of Uma by Como. Consider taking part in a guided morning walk to explore nearby rice terraces or simply indulging in the hotel's lovely on-site facilities. Yoga classes and spa treatments can also be arranged through the hotel concierge (at additional cost).
• Complimentary return transfers are also available into Ubud for those guests who would like to further explore town.
• This evening, join your guide and make your way to the Peliatan Royal Palace, one of the oldest in Ubud. An elaborately designed building, it was constructed in 1769. Adopting the traditional Balinese architectural concepts based on deep philosophical and spatial division, the palace is divided into a Tri Mandala — three spatial functions. Upon arrival you will be greeted a steward of the estate who will a tour you around the palace and detail stories of the Balinese king and the kingdom of Ubud, Balinese philosophy, local traditions and the religion of Bali. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to meet and chat with one of the princes in the palace, and then settle in for a Balinese royal dinner. As freshly prepared dishes are served, feel free to ask questions about Balinese kingdoms, past & present, and Balinese culture in general. The event ends with a spectacular performance featuring Balinese dances set to gamelan music. After an unforgettable evening, you will be returned to your hotel.

DAY 6

• Cultural Immersion
• Bali; the name alone evokes images of rice paddies and mighty volcanoes. Besides the exotic imaginings the island has seeded in the minds of travelers over the years, it is the soul and character of the people of the island that defines Bali. In the 1930’s, Ubud became a heaven for artists with the likes of Walter Spies, Miguel Covarrubias and later Antonio Blanco and Arie Smit spending time in the enclave. The island has been a magnet for the arts; Ubud as its epicenter. Today's special experience: A day in the life of a Balinese artist. You’re invited to meet local artists at their homes and workshops, opening the door to a world that is normally hidden form the sight of travelers. Sure, anyone can buy an art piece in a showroom, but how about meeting the masters themselves? Today, set out to meet a few local maestros and then enjoy a meal with a host family in a local Balinese home. After a day learning about the artistic flair – past and present – of Ubud and Bali, you’ll be returned to your hotel.

DAY 7

• UBUD TO ULUWATU

• On your transfer from the terraced fields of Ubud to the shores of Uluwatu, take the time to break up the drive with a gourmet lunch at a leading Balinese restaurant, and afterwards, stop to visit Garuda Wisnu Kencan Cultural Park. Here you’ll find a striking common devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu and Garuda, Vishnu’s chief companion, the king-of-birds. After exploring the park in detail, continue onward to your hotel in Uluwatu where your guide will assist with check-in.

• Fun in the Sun
• Join fellow travelers an 85-foot-long catamaran and cross the Badung strait to reach Nusa Lembongan. On the course of your day-long cruise, participate in a snorkeling excursion, banana boat adventure, village tour, and an island-based buffet lunch with drinks included. Enjoy fantastic snorkeling opportunities and glass-bottom boat rides and visit Bali Hai Beach Club where you can swim in the fresh-water lagoon pool or in the crystal-clear waters of Mushroom Bay.

• Until Next Time…
• You will be privately transferred from Uluwatu to Denpasar Airport by a professional driver and an English-speaking guide. Approximate travel duration is one hour and 30 minutes.
