DAY 1

EMBARK LONDON, ENGLAND

Transfer to the London Victoria railway station and board the Belmond British Pullman, sister train to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Once aboard, settle in and enjoy brunch service as the Kent countryside gives way to Folkestone. After a short transfer via coach to Cheriton, board the shuttle to Calais, France. Uniformed hostesses accompany you throughout the journey. Board the legendary Wagons-Lits carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Calais Ville Station and settle into your comfortable private cabin. Later this evening, enjoy an elegant dinner service in one of the beautifully restored Restaurant Cars. You may wish to linger in the Bar Car, listening to the resident pianist play the baby grand and chatting to fellow passengers before you retire for the night.

DISEMBARK VENICE, ITALY

This morning, continental breakfast is served in your cabin as Alpine scenery passes by. This afternoon, enjoy a three-course lunch in one of the Restaurant Cars. Afternoon tea is served in your cabin before the train’s arrival. Disembark in Venice to continue on with the remainder of your Tailor Made Journey.
