I’ve never heard of Trip Concierge. Who are you?

Trip Concierge is a venture capital backed travel startup. Although we are young, we are affiliated with Nexion, a wholly owned subsidiary of Travel Leaders Group, one of the Top 10 travel companies in the world. Think of us as a next-generation travel agent that just happens to be really cool and your best friend, because we work for you, not the airlines or hotels. Our IATA Travel Agency ID is #45613433. We are also rated “A” with the Better Business Bureau.

Why Do I have to Book in Advance?

The simple reason is, more choice and better airline seating. With TC the only thing you need to do is choose a destination and a date. No more scouring websites for hotel deals and being duped by airlines confusing pricing tricks. Last minute deals are a travel marketing myth. To get you the best possible price we only allow you to book vacations with minimum two (2) weeks advance notice. For example, if you want to book a vacation on March 14. The latest you can book that trip is March 1. You can make more short notice requests via our custom booking tool.

Why do you choose the Airline and Departure Times?

Booking with Trip Concierge means never having to travel on a low-cost carrier ever again. Our goal is to get you there as quickly and efficiently as possible with the least hassle. We have spent years refining routes and finding the best options. Because you don't have to worry about flight prices, you are free to travel the best and most efficient route.
So as much as we will try to cater to your airline preferences, you cannot choose the departure time on the day of travel. However, you get to earn and keep all the miles - that's even more vacations.

Our preferred airlines are the majors including Delta, American and United. Our preferred airlines for Europe are Delta, American, Air France, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, United, Lufthansa, SAS, Swiss and British Airways (London only). Our preferred airlines for Asia are United and ANA. Our preferred airlines for Latin America are American and United.

Why do you only give me one choice of hotel in a star category?

Can I Stay Longer or Build Custom Trips?

Most of our international trips are 6 nights/7 days and our getaways are generally 2 nights / 3 days. If you want to extend your stay or hop through cities in Europe you can use the Custom Trip Request tool and make a request. Our hotel add-on prices will always match the big sites like Booking, Expedia, Travelocity or Trivago.

What if I have more people travelling?

Two options. If you need two hotel rooms, then you just book two of the same trips. If you want to stay in one room, then you can just send us an email to ask@tripconcierge.co after booking to let us know. If we don’t have your credit card on file, then we will contact you to help you customize your trip.

Why do you choose the activities?

You could argue that there are too many activities to please everyone. Our experience tells us that there are many activities that you will regret. Activities always sound great on a website. But once you get there you realise its totally the wrong thing to do for the destination, the service is awful, or worse somebody ran away with your money. We know the destinations, we even know which snorkelling adventure on the Galapagos is the best - because we have been there. If there is an activity you would rather prefer, just email us at ask@tripconcierge.co and we will do our best to make it happen, additional charges may apply.

Once I am booked do you give any support during travel?

The worst part of booking travel on your own is if something goes wrong. Who hasn't been on hold for hours with the airline due to a cancellation or bad weather. With us you are never alone, if something goes wrong on your trip, we are here to help. A simple text email or call will spring us into action. Whether that is rebooking you on another flight, finding alternative hotels, or getting you home in case of a medical emergency. We have you covered.

Why are Trips Non-Refundable?

Trip bookings are generally non-refundable because we predominantly used prepaid hotel stays to get you the best price. Flight bookings can be cancelled until 24 hours from the time of booking. The hotel and activity portion, once confirmed, is not refundable. Should a covered reason prevent you from traveling you can make a claim with the travel insurance provider.

How can I trust that you are giving me a good deal?

Because we don’t trust the coverage of the credit card companies. Since trips are non-refundable, you want to ensure that you are able to recover the cost in the case of a medical, family or personal emergency. More importantly it provides you with peace of mind when you are in a foreign country. Our insurance is offered through Allianz Global Protection, one of the largest insurers in the world. The insurance coverage goes above and beyond any insurance covered by your credit card provider.
